AAY -Antyodaya Anan Yojana and PHH-Punjab Ration Card for priority families

Under Antyodaya Anan Yojanathe poor are provided monthly ration cards under the Food Security Act such as sugar, wheat, rice etc. available at subsized prices. Under the AAY yojana, BPL families are most deserving poor people.  The Beneficiaries under AAY are able to get essential things at a price that is less than the market price.

PHH (Primary Account) families above BPL can apply for this card and this scheme also has an I slab to apply.

How to apply

Online and offline application

Applicants can apply for Punjab smart ration cards online as well as offline. At present time, online mode is not available. Even though, management is very authorized. 

Offline application method

  • Applicants need to visit the EPDS office and ask for the form of a ration card application to apply for this.
  • Enter the details on the form such as name, address, family details, and source of income.
  • Now, attach the relevant documents with this form.
  • After successfully completing the form, it is sent to the office of this department.
  • Do not forget to receive a slip number before leaving the window.
  • Applicants need to pay a fee determined by the government on the counter for the process of a ration card.
  • After 15-20 days of submission of the form by the applicant, the department can issue the Punjab smart ration card.
